The Christina is right next to the slopes, directly opposite the lifts and about 150 metres from the ski school meeting place. So you can ski out and ski home again and then enjoy a bit of apres-ski at Scotty's Bar & Restaurant right next door.

Description:

Inside, the Christina is decorated in warm wood panelling with stone floors and colourful fabrics. The dining room, which is surrounded by mountains on three sides, is bright and airy with super views. The hotel bar and spacious lounge spread out on two levels are perfect for relaxing or socialising after dinner.

The first floor sun terrace opens off the hotel bar and is ideal for catching some late afternoon sun. If the children want to play in the snow, you can keep an eye on them from here without missing your pre-dinner drinks.

Bedrooms are comfortable and easily adapt for families who want to share. Most have room for an extra bed or cot and some are interconnecting. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with WC, bath or shower that have been recently refurbished.

Although the Chalethotel itself does not have a beauty salon, there are health and beauty centres in the town centre of La Plagne offering massages, a range of beauty treatments, saunas and steam rooms all at reasonable prices. Our chalethotel staff will be happy to assist in making a booking for you.

• Large Double - 1 double bed, en-suite, some rooms take up to two extra beds and/or cot.
• Family Suite - Consists of 2 twin rooms, a pull out bed and a cot can be used if required. Shared en-suite facilities between both rooms.
• Interconnecting - Double room connects to a twin, both have en-suites & will take a cot.
• Mini Apartment - Two rooms, both of which have en-suite. These rooms are not interconnecting.

Skiing as a family is a fantastic experience and great fun too. Our market-leading childcare is something we are immensely proud of and with 30 years experience, we have thought of everything. So you can take time out and hit the slopes knowing your children, whether skiers or non-skiers (from 4 months to 12 years) are in safe hands and having fun. Our British nannies are all top notch and hold either an NNEB, DCE, NVQ or equivalent qualification, or at least 2 years' relevant childcare experience.

We have creches in 9 of our chalethotels all of which are bright, colourful, warm and filled with plenty of games and toys to keep our younger guests entertained. They are fully equipped with essentials such as cots for daytime naps, potties, bottle sterilisers and fridges. There are also 24-hour kitchen facilities for those early morning or late night feeds.

Our crèches are open after breakfast at 9am enabling you to drop your children off with us and get out on to the slopes early. And for children in our childcare and booked into ski school our nannies will drop the kids off and pick them up when's it's over. They'll ensure they're settled into their class and collect them for lunch and at the end of the day it's back to the chalethotel for tea.
