Location:

Chalethotel Cygnaski is just minutes from the centre of Val d'Isere. Access to the slopes is easy, with a short bus ride to the La Daille lifts in one direction and the Le Fornet lifts and nursery slopes in the other.

Description:

The chalethotel is extremely welcoming, with a lovely large lounge area wrapping round a huge log fire with stone chimney - just the place to relax after a day's skiing. The bar, which is separate from the lounge is small and cosy and very popular for an apres ski beer or aperitif before dinner. The dining room is large and bright and is laid out to be social.

The comfortable bedrooms are spacious with lovely large windows and en-suite bathrooms. Many of which can take extra beds for children or a cot.

Many of the guests enjoy taking some time out from the slopes by relaxing with a book on one of the comfy sofas beside the fire. For something a little more indulgent, such as a health and beauty treament or a massage then a short bus ride to the village centre takes you to the therapy centre. Our hotel staff will be happy to make a booking for you during your stay.

The Cygnaski is a great hit with families. Alarge creche and colourful nursery are situated on the ground floor and run byfully qualified nannies.4 childrens clubs are run from the creche for children aged 4 months - 12 years including a drop off and pick up service from ski school.

Catering:

Breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3 course dinner with a choice of wines are all served in the dining room. Dinner is either a plentiful buffet or an a la carte menu with a choice of starters, mains and desserts, including vegetarian options. We provide a High Tea/Early dinner sitting for children enabling parents to dine with friends and fellow guests a little later on.

Skiing as a family is a fantastic experience and great fun too. Our market-leading childcare is something we are immensely proud of and with 30 years experience, we have thought of everything. So you can take time out and hit the slopes knowing your children, whether skiers or non-skiers (from 4 months to 12 years) are in safe hands and having fun. Our British nannies are all top notch and hold either an NNEB, DCE, NVQ or equivalent qualification, or at least 2 years' relevant childcare experience.

We have creches in 9 of our chalethotels all of which are bright, colourful, warm and filled with plenty of games and toys to keep our younger guests entertained. They are fully equipped with essentials such as cots for daytime naps, potties, bottle sterilisers and fridges. There are also 24-hour kitchen facilities for those early morning or late night feeds.

Our crèches are open after breakfast at 9am enabling you to drop your children off with us and get out on to the slopes early. And for children in our childcare and booked into ski school our nannies will drop the kids off and pick them up when's it's over. They'll ensure they're settled into their class and collect them for lunch and at the end of the day it's back to the chalethotel for tea.
