Location:

The Chalet 'Edelweiss' is in the hamlet of Mottec at the foot of the Piste de Chamois, two kilometres before Zinal.

Geneva is the nearest major airport. From there it's 2 hours by car, 3 hours by train/bus.

By road it's motorway to Sierre at the bottom of the valley, then 30 scenic minutes to our door

Description:

The chalet's five bedrooms are furnished with local antiques; reclaimed timbers and original oak and pine floors add to the character.

All of the rooms have their own bathrooms, two with baths and three with showers.

Four of the rooms can be configured as either twin or double; the fifth is a twin.

Homemade cakes or biscuits are laid out for your return in the afternoon. In the evening a four course dinner, with wine or beer and the hamlet's very own spring water, is finished with chocolates and coffee by the fire. A selection of the best local wines and spirits is also available. One night each week is yours to sample one of the local restaurants.
