Location, location, location. It does not come much better than this. Right in the centre of Val d'Isere lounging against a mountain, this chalethotel was newly upgraded in 2008 and is perfectly positioned for just about everything. It's within walking distance of the main Solaise and Bellevarde lifts and it's only minutes from the ski school. It's also in the heart of the shopping, eating and people watching area of this smart resort.

Description:

Le Val d'Isere Chalethotel is beautifully furnished throughout, and the lounge and bar areas with their large sofas and armchairs are the main hub of the hotel. The wide selection of bedrooms are all en-suite and stylishly decorated. There are TV's in every room with English channels and the bathrooms have hairdryers. But it's the dining room that is really impressive here. High up on the fourth floor, this galleried room looks down on the town and up into the mountains. In the evening, when the Olympic downhill course is illuminated and the lights in the trees are reflecting off the snow, it's a magical place to be. Breakfast, tea and dinner are all served in the hotel dining room which is laid out to accommodate larger group tables or tables for two.

• Single - 1 small double bed and en-suite bathroom.
• Twin - 2 single beds, en-suite bathroom, some rooms take an extra bed and/or cot.
• Double - 1 double bed, en-suite bathroom.
• Large Double - 1 double bed, en-suite bathroom can take 1 extra bed or cot.
• Duplex room - Mezzanine room, double bed on lower level with en-suite. Wooden staircase up to mezzanine level with 2 children's' beds (not suitable for children under 3). Cannot take a cot.
• Half Suite - Two bedrooms, entrance into the first room with en-suite bathroom with a doorway leading to a twin/double room.
• Family Suite - Two rooms which are interconnecting. One double room with en-suite and second room with single bed and pull down top bunk. Second room has an en-suite shower. The double room can take a cot.
• Mini Apartment - Double and twin room both en-suite

Please note that French legislation does not allow a child under 6yrs of age to use a bunk bed.

Skiing as a family is a fantastic experience and great fun too. Our market-leading childcare is something we are immensely proud of and with 30 years experience, we have thought of everything. So you can take time out and hit the slopes knowing your children, whether skiers or non-skiers (from 4 months to 12 years) are in safe hands and having fun. Our British nannies are all top notch and hold either an NNEB, DCE, NVQ or equivalent qualification, or at least 2 years' relevant childcare experience.

We have creches in 9 of our chalethotels all of which are bright, colourful, warm and filled with plenty of games and toys to keep our younger guests entertained. They are fully equipped with essentials such as cots for daytime naps, potties, bottle sterilisers and fridges. There are also 24-hour kitchen facilities for those early morning or late night feeds.

Our crèches are open after breakfast at 9am enabling you to drop your children off with us and get out on to the slopes early. And for children in our childcare and booked into ski school our nannies will drop the kids off and pick them up when's it's over. They'll ensure they're settled into their class and collect them for lunch and at the end of the day it's back to the chalethotel for tea.
