We love Verbier and have worked and skied there since 1986 so there is little we don’t know about it. We appreciate that you might not want to go to the same place every year so we have built up a portfolio of excellent contacts in all the main resorts. What sort of skiing holiday do you need?
Some resorts are better for beginners or families, others suit every level of skier while a few are better for the real experts.
So much choice - let us make your decision easier.
What age group are you?
Young families want play areas, crèches etc.
Slightly older children may want a sports centre etc.
For singles/couples and young adults bars and night life are key.
Levels of expertise
What standard are the various members of your party and do they like:- piste, off-piste, snow parks, half pipes? Are they snowboarders, powderhounds, heliskiiers, mogul bashers, ski tourers or non skiers?
What do you want the resort to provide?
Which facilities are essential:- good childcare, ski schools, designer shops, bars and nightclubs, alpine charm and traditional restaurants, gourmet food, a wide range of restaurants, sports centres, spas with saunas and massage, beauty salons, piano bars, cosy chalets, comfortable or luxurious hotels, sleigh rides, candlelit descents, toboggan runs?
What is your budget?
Some of the resorts are known for their glamour, others have expensive bars and mountain restaurants. Rates of exchange can affect choice too.
How will you get there?
Cheap local flights, transfer times from airports, trains or self-drive are all factors that will influence your choice of destination.
