From the beginning, we had a clear concept in mind: a hotel for people who seek something different, guests who are seeking both comfort, style, and a unique atmosphere at affordable rates. We left beaten paths and rules of convention, yet we preserved originality and credibility. Our main focus is to help our guests create their personal holiday experience in an open and welcoming space. The resulting 3-star+ boutique hotel appeals to afficionados of art & design as well of lovers of good food and atmosphere.

There are different sized bedrooms, the think tank (a chill-out room), rooftop space with seating, sauna and jacuzzi, wine cellar, art gallery,library, miniclub and traditional restaurant.

Location

Located in the centre of town and just 5 minutes walk to the ski lifts.

Accommodation

Rooms come in 4 flavours: Small (1 persons), Medium (2 persons), Large (3 to 4 persons), and Xlarge (4 to 5 persons) with ensuite shower room.

The wooden furniture made from untreated, solid spruce wood offers a warm and cosy atmosphere. Every piece of furniture was designed by Madritsch & Pfurtscheller Architects and reflects their straight-forward approach to contemporary hotel design. Special attention was given to technology and communication: free wireless and cable access to the internet. A nice touch: our multi-plug with different outlets (US, UK, Italy). Services

For all young guests, we offer a special service: Steinerwirt Miniclub is a play room with many acitivities for children from age 2. In the winter, we offer free child care to all restaurant guests from 6 – 9 pm. A service, that is appreciated by children and parents alike.

Catering

Steinerwirt offers traditional Austrian hospitality since 1493, and continues to innovative and be authentic. It is a place where past, present and future meet in a new interpretation of the classic “Gasthaus“. The restaurant has been a meeting point for locals and guests from all over the world for ages and is well known for its hospitable atmosphere and for its cuisine. The open-minded and not too formal setting is also reflected in the regular cultural events that take place here. A special highlight is the wine cellar from the 14th century. In here, the best Austrian wines are waiting for you.
